Role
- The role of a Glass Cutter is to cut flat glass and mirrors.
Duties
- The daily duties of a Glass Cutter are to make measurements and calculations and cut glass to patterns/dimensions using glass cutting tools.
Break away excess glass by hand or with notched tool or glass pinchers.
Smooth rough glass edges using glass and glazing hand and power tools such as belt sander.
Requirements
- Experience in glass and glazing industry.
Knowledge and understanding on AS NZ 4667 2000.
