Role Details

Role Title:
Glass Finishing Drill Work - CNC and Water Jet Operator

The role of a Waterjet operator and CNC operator is to operate a computer-aided design (CAD) system to produce basic design elements, troubleshoot programs and adjust machines for corrections.

The daily duties would be to interpret design specifications and program Water Jet and CNC machines for processing of drill works to produce finished products for client requirements.

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair machines.

Maintain a clean work station.

Computer and CAD skills are necessary.

Ability to make basic measurements and calculation.

Communicate in the workplace.

Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the glass industry.

Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices.
