The role of despatch will entail the management of a small team's daily workflow and ensure efficient distribution of customer orders, ownership of all vehicle maintenance, maintaining systems and procedures, accurate order fulfilment, ensuring compliance to OH&S practices and keep accurate delivery schedules to meet customer needs.
The daily duties will be to schedule the despatch workers and daily despatch schedule. Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from supervisors.
Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment. Receive or prepare work orders.
Move block and bulk glass sheet by mechanical means.
Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate and work in a team environment.
Must have good time management skills.
Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices.
Forklift licence is prerequisite.
Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or Certificate III in Warehouse Operations
