Role Title:
Commercial Glazier

The role of a Glazier Commercial Installation / Replacement is to install or replace glass in commercial buildings such as offices, schools, various venues and also public transport.

The duties of a Commercial Glazier are to fabricate frames and install or replace glass at commercial sites using hand and power tools.

Install/replace large panes of glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces, such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops.

Set glass into doors and frames. Bolts metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to prefabricated glass doors.

Prior experience and qualification in glass and glazing industry is essential.

Knowledge on using laser level and dumpy levels for site measurements.

Have knowledge on AS1288 and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Must have a construction white card and current drivers licence.
