Domestic Glazier

The role of a Domestic Glazier is to glaze and reglaze residential windows and doors.

The duties of a Domestic Glazier include cutting glass using hand and power tools.

Cut and remove broken glass prior to installing replacement glass.

Install mirrors or structural glass on building fronts, walls, ceilings, or tables, using mastic, screws, or decorative moulding.

Bolt metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to prefabricated glass doors.

Prior experience and qualification in glass and glazing industry.

Have knowledge on AS1288 and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Must have a construction white card and current drivers license.
