Senior Estimator

Role

• The Senior Estimator coordinates and manages a team of estimators who cost projects and also prepares quotes and tenders for special projects.
  

Duties

• The duties of the Senior Estimator include the preparation and submission of tenders.
  
  Manage all submitted tender administration and raise contracts associated with successful tenders.
  
  Business Development - review and select tender opportunities to meet business goals.
  
  

Requirements

• A Senior Estimator is required to coach / mentor direct reports to develop in their positions.
  
  Ability to delegate tasks to direct reports in line with skill, knowledge and ability.
  
  A good knowledge of the 'nuts and bolts' of architectural construction is needed.
